SUPPORT PROCEDURE

In order to facilitate your accommodation support application and to analyse your request in good time and manner, the Delegates Welcome Service team invites you to read carefully the support procedure:

Time frame to consider

Before placing a request for accommodation support, and depending on the event you wish to attend, please take into consideration the following factors:

High season

During conferences periods, there is limited hotel availability, therefore we strongly reccommend to book as early as possible. The cost per night is also higher, and the CAGI doesn’t have the benefit of reduced rates during these periods.

Visa application

  • allow at least two months in order to provide all the necessary documents according to your country of origin. Refer to the presentation of the Permanent Mission of Switzerland before the ONUG  for more information,
  • in order to facilitate the obtention of the visa, CAGI may issue a letter confirming your booking,
  • if the visa application is under way, please inform CAGI of the date of the appointment with the issuing entity,
  • once obtained, a copy of the visa must be sent to CAGI.

Individual request

Considering that you have all the documents required, your demand is to be made at least two weeks prior arrival.

Group request

Considering that you have all the documents required, your demand is to be made at least one month before arrival of the first delegate. 

Cancellation

In case of cancellation, please inform the Service at least 3 days in advance of your arrival by email; in case of no-show without proper justification charges may apply.

Any accommodation request received after 12:00 PM (local time) on Friday or before a public holidays will be processed the next working day.
