Birth

Childbirth
- Where to give birth in Geneva (maternity, clinic, home, birthing centre)?

- The Sexual Health and Family Planning Unit (USSPF) of the University Hospitals of Geneva (HUG): public service, free and confidential. It offers information, support and guidance on all questions relating to the different stages of relational, sexual and reproductive life.
- Midwives to accompany you, inform you, advise you during and after your pregnancy.
- The Geneva Institution for Home Care (imad). As soon as a child is born, you can receive a home visit from a nurse specializing in maternal and child health; she will bring you help, advice and support in your role as a parent.
