How to disrupt and optimize VAT ?

Tuesday June 6, 2023

We have the pleasure to inform you that CAGI will organize a new VAT session on June 6th 2023 (presentation in English).

Betty Lynn Evans, former Head of Accounting & Risk Management at ICRC and Olivier Comment, Director with PWC, will jointly present an interactive session around VAT.

Our goal is to help you identify the important topics your organization might need to consider in the area of VAT. We will illustrate the VAT registration process taking into account the various types of income and their respective consequences.

The new threshold of CHF 250’000 instead of the current CHF 150’000 limit will be also part of the presentation including key factors in case you plan to ask for a VAT de-registration. Other elements will be also covered such as the acquisition of services from abroad rules as well as the ratio of recovery right of VAT paid to suppliers.

Betty Lynn Evans will also share with you some experiences during her past positions in not-for-profit organizations.

The goal of this event is to not only provide you with technical and legal information but also what it means in your day to day environment.
