- Founded in Geneva in 1983, the Ateliers d’Ethnomusicologie (ADEM) is a cultural association dedicated to world music and dance.
- Throughout the year, they organize concerts and festivals, courses, workshops, and activities for young audiences.
- They also publish books and CDs and provide support to migrant musicians living in the region.

This evening’s concert offers an overview of the Hungarian renewal of folk tradition with a string trio composed of a violin, a viola (brach) and a double bass, complemented by a cimbalom, one of the most emblematic and appreciated instruments Hungarian music, including Gypsy music. Among the group’s artists are two eminent musicians from the prestigious Ferenc Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest, recognized as major figures in this “musical renaissance” movement.
