What is the UN doing to improve mental health and wellbeing for its personnel? Mental health is defined as a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.
It is our pleasure to invite you to an event hosted by Therese Fitzpatrick, Global Lead for the UN’s Mental Health Strategy Implementation, in collaboration with Human Resources and Staff Counselling and Staff Welfare teams from UNOG and all of the UN agencies based in Geneva. This event will inform you of what has been done so far, what are the priorities that we are working on, and most importantly what we hope to achieve. We encourage you to come, to share your ideas and your experiences. Together we can really make a difference to the way we work, and in turn improve our health and well-being both in work and in our personal lives.
