The Lake of Geneva is the home of the world's most important, most elegant and most homogeneous fleet of side-wheel paddle boats. All were built by Sulzer Brothers of Winterthur between 1904 and 1927. It is also the biggest Belle Epoque fleet of the world (in passenger capacity) it has been classed as a Historic Monument of national importance on June 17th 2011.
