CAGI mission

The CAGI was founded in 1996 by the Confederation and the Republic and Canton of Geneva and is supported by more than 30 national and local, public and private entities.

The missions of the CAGI are :

  1. To facilitate the settlement and administrative, social and cultural integration of internationals based in Geneva and their families.
  2. To offer assistance and advice to NGOs and, in collaboration with the relevant authorities, to process applications from NGOs wishing to establish themselves in the Lake Geneva region.
  3. To support the accommodation of delegates from developing countries to ensure their stay during their participation in conferences, training courses or working meetings.
  4. To promote exchanges between “International Geneva” and local community through events, cultural and leisure activities.

We are located at “La Pastorale”, an area built in the middle of the 19th century, comprising five buildings that have become over time the link between the city and the international community, demonstrating that heritage and modernity coexist in harmony.
