The Voix Boréales sing tales of trolls, natural or supernatural powers and the nostalgia of polar peoples.Most of these pieces originate from anonymous writers, others of known composers such as Grieg, Merikanto, Sibelius and Sommerfeldt.Songs celebrating the group’s taste for both medieval and folk music as well as classical melodies from the Romantic and Contemporary era.Michael Toye, a musician having pursued his passion in his native Scotland and Ireland, as in various African countries, will accompany the vocal group together with the wonderful harpist Domenica Musumeci.
