Library Events Room, B Building (B. 135), 1st Floor
13 November 2019 – 12:30 to 2 p.m.
How can organisations and communities, including UN system entities and academic institutions, best implement the Sustainable Development Goals and environmental initiatives in effective, meaningful ways? How can they build and realize sustainability reporting, practical initiatives and programs, and strategies that are unique to their environment, and encourage culture change and participation from their communities and colleagues?
This interactive session, held in collaboration with UN and University of Geneva (UNIGE) partners, aims to bring you insights and best practices on how we can move towards more sustainable organisations. You’ll have the chance to discuss and ask questions to various practitioners across a range of themes, from reporting and developing a strategy, to internal initiatives and participation, and hear their reflections on the challenges, opportunities and lessons learnt in implementing sustainability initiatives.
